MY 2 Must-Have Hair Supplements
Healthy hair starts from the inside out. Nutrition plays a vital role, but sometimes we need a little extra help. These are my two favorite supplements that will take your hair health, as well as your overall health, to the next level.



This is the product that started my newfound healthy hair obsession, when I observed fellow Young Living brand partners raving about what it does to their hair. In fact, one brand partner said that it seemed to be taking away all her greys. Since I had just stopped bleaching my hair and was noticing the new "sparkles" appearing, I had to try this. Sulfurzyme contains MSM, a dietary sulfur that is essential for healthy hair. It comes in two forms: capsules and powder. I take two capsules each morning and two capsules each evening. But beware, one of the side effects of Sulfurzyme is long, strong fingernails and healthier, brighter-looking skin. Yuck. Oh, and it also boosts your immune system and helps with joint pain. Kind of a jack of all traits.






If there was one supplement I would recommend for overall health, it would be NingXia Red, which is derived from wolfberry of the NingXia province and infused with essential oils. I can't say enough about this powerhouse! For starters, it has incredible antioxidant power. Antioxidants fight free radicals, those pesky little guys that cause aging, greying, low energy, the list goes on and on. 

So when I say "incredible antioxidant power", what do I really mean? I'm so glad you asked! One ounce of NingXia Red has the antioxidant power of:
  • 4 Pounds Carrots
  • 2 Quarts Carrot Juice
  • 8 Oranges
  • 1 Pint Orange Juice
  • 2 Pounds Beets
  • 2 Cups Beet Juice
  • 3 Cups Raspberries
  • 2 Cups Blueberries
… combined!

The NingXia wolfberry also contains every essential amino acid, which makes it a complete protein. At 13% protein, it has the highest protein content of any fruit. It also has B1, B2, and B6—you know, the energy vitamins. It has more Vitamin C (148 mg) than all fruits and veggies on earth, including oranges (53 mg) and spinach (133 mg). It has more calcium than cherries and cruciferous vegetables and more beta carotene than carrots! And it's loaded with fiber because the pulp and skin are preserved.
